Trout Fishing:
Overnight trout fishing trips to North Central Pennsylvania are available from Mid April Thru June. Rooms and food are Provided at The First Fork Lodge located on the First Fork of the Sinnemahoning River, our home river for the trip with several others nearby.

Chagrin River Outfitters has access to two and A half miles of spring creek at Sunnybrook Trout Club in Castalia Ohio that offers trout fishing in its most classic setting. We offer full day trips that include gear and lunch, overnight accommodations available on the grounds.

          Opening in the summer of 2006, Jeff’s Fly Fishing Center has become one of Northeast Ohio’s premier fly fishing stores.  They carry some of the highest quality fly fishing gear on the market today including Scott, Thomas & Thomas, Winston, Tibor, Redington, Cortland, Ross, G Loomis, Lamson, Metz, Spirit River, Hodgman, Frog Hair, Rio, and tons more! They also carry a lot of fly tying materials that can not be found locally.

Products for the beginner through expert fisherman in all price ranges can be found here. For the budget conscious, there are entry level rods & reels, waders, and wading jackets/vests…everything to get you started at affordable prices. There is also a great selection of custom tied flies by Jeff….. If you need something special just take in an example or a photo and they’d be glad to tie it up for you. There are not many places around that can say that! Since opening the store, custom fly tying has become one of the stores greatest assets. Customers can come in and have any fly pattern tied right at the store. Being a full service shop, Jeff's Fly Fishing Center also offers free advise and they'd be happy to help you answer any questions you may have. Jeff has been tying flies for well over 20years and has previously tied and supplied flies for many local shops. He has lived in five countries and fished each one. He’s gained diverse experience in each country, which has molded him into the professional he is today.

I stopped to check out Erie Outfitters to see why everyone was talking about this large local shop. I've been hearing a lot about this place for a while so I wanted to stop in to see what makes it such a great place to do business with. It all started with the "Beer Tasting" event we are hosting for local anglers, when I get an e-mail from Craig out at Erie Outfitters saying he was going to donate a rod for a door prize for the event.

      Upon my arrival, Craig made every attempt to help me out right from the start. One can tell that he really knows his products through field-testing and experience. The shop was nice and there is a great selection of fly tying material. I also noticed a great selection of centerpin reels and gear for the local steelheaders. I've got to say this is the best centerpinning shop around the area.... and if they do not have it in stock, they'll get it! The shop was filled with everything a fly fisherman, centerpin, or boater could need on any given day including flies, floats, rods, reels, and boating gear! They also carry bait & eggs for the bait fisherman. I was very impressed with the knowledge they have to back their products and Craig was more than happy to talk about centerpinning with me. Their reputation is second to none.

        This is a great shop and Craig is a great guy. He has a very loyal customers base, and it is growing rapidly. This is a great local business and it is a MUST to get out there for your needs. And, if you get out there tell him we sent ya. This is defiantly the "go-to" place
