Cleveland Metropark Fishing Page Cleveland Metroparks holds ownership to twenty-six stream miles of the Rocky River which represents the largest single public stream ownership in Ohio. Rocky River currently supports a significant steelhead trout fishery as well as native stream fisheries for a diversity of fish species.
Cleveland Metropark Fish Fund Donations to Cleveland Metroparks Fishing Fund help provide a rewarding fishing experience to Northeast Ohio anglers through the stocking of rainbow trout, channel catfish, largemouth bass, and other sport fish. The Fund also supports children's fishing derbies and creation and restoration of essential habitat in the ponds, lakes, and rivers within Cleveland Metroparks.

Save Our Streams

Save Our Stream is an environmental education and outreach group that was pioneered in 2003 and consists of three 10th grade students from Hawken Upper School in Gates Mills Ohio. Evin McMullen, Angela Primbas and Amanda Weatherhead, also known as the members of the SOS team, researched and discovered significant problems with the Brook Trout and the streams in the watersheds of Northeast Ohio.
